Universal Health Care
On 4 May 2016, the “Health for Juan and Juana (HJJ): Moving Forward with the Philippine Health Agenda” was first organized to bring together thought leaders and experts in the field of healthcare, from both public and private sectors, to discuss the gains of previoust health reforms and how the momentum can be carried into the incoming Administration. The session presented recommendations for the way forward to ensure that all Filipinos can get the quality healthcare they deserve.
As a pre-requisite to membership, members abide by the PHAP Code of Practice aligned with international and national laws and standards.
It also established the Integrity and Proficiency Program for the Pharmaceutical Sector (IPPS) which is a training and development program in line with PHAP’s continuing commitment to support the Government and private sector’s integrity and good governance drive.
